The Future

In 2007 Alan Thompson returned to the band and agreed to become the leading drummer, shortly after this Andrew Paton was asked to be Pipe Major. The band is slowly growing and there is great confidence among the players that 2009 will see the return of the Chorley Pipe band on the competition field. There is still a lot of work to be done, and we are very keen to hear from anyone who wishes to join the band.

We are primarily a competition band and our immediate focus is on re-establishing Chorley on the competition circuit.
